Majority
of Sehore population i.e. 81.5 percent people live in rural areas therefore
education that enable people to develop their skills in the field of their
family work which is also the main
source of their livelihood need to be focused on. Agriculture and fisheries are
the main fields. An Agriculture
College has been
established in the city on the main Indore- Bhopal road. Out of 66 Higher
Secondary schools 19 schools have agriculture faculty for class 11th
and 12th students. There is a dire need for developing skills in
aqua-fisheries science. A quality intervention in the studies of agriculture
and fisheries will prove to be beneficial. A plan for the same is developed and
proposed by the DPO
